Members of SSPC ACT Inc.
All membership renewals are done on-line. The link to this year’s renewal form is SSPC ACT – Application for Membership Renewal 2025-26.
Most will be familiar with the form and it easy to follow. Some of the fields are mandatory and are identified by a red asterisk. When complete press the red “Submit” button. The SSPC ACT Club component of your fees for 2025/26 remains the same. The breakdown of your upcoming fees appears in the schedule at the bottom of the renewal form.
If you have moved in the past year, please note that it is a legal requirement for you to notify the club – and your relevant Firearms Registry.
If you have received a new Firearms Licence or your Firearms Licence number has changed, it is a requirement for you to notify the club.
Members are reminded that your continued membership of Sporting Shooting Association of Australia is a club requirement. This is important as it does include your insurance coverage whilst you are on the range. Periodic reviews of SSAA member status will be undertaken and those who are not financial members of SSAA will be denied access to SSPC ACT managed ranges until this is rectified.
SSPC ACT is also affiliated with Target Pistol Australia through ACTTPA and has obligations to both SSAA ACT and ACTTPA. SSPC ACT offers 8 handgun disciplines which are available to all members to shoot at all levels, with 7 of the 8 available disciplines being the intellectual property of Target Pistol Australia. The Constitution of ACTTPA requires all members of affiliated clubs to be financial members of Target Pistol Australia, and nothing in the SSAA ACT Constitution (or broader SSAA policy) prevents or prohibits that requirement. SSPC ACT membership is voluntary and it is a SSPC ACT condition of membership that members be financial members of both SSAA ACT and ACTTPA.
Payment or renewal of SSPC membership indicates acceptance of these conditions.
Your current membership of SSPC ACT ceases on 30 June 2024. If you have not submitted your renewal application and paid your fees by that day, you are not permitted to shoot on the ranges and access to the ranges will be immediately withdrawn until this has been corrected. As required in the SSPC ACT Club Constitution, failure to apply for renewal and pay fees by end July causes automatic cancellation of membership and the reporting of same to the relevant Firearms Registry.
Once your fees and application for renewal have been received, your access card will be updated to grant access to the SSPC ACT managed ranges for 2024-25. An updated list of financial members will be forwarded to the SSAA Range Office in early August.
